White Bread

This is a simple white bread recipe. This recipe is easy to make. It makes the best fresh white bread. This bread is good for sandwiches, toast, breakfast, and just to have.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups warm water

  • 1 Tbsp dry active yeast (1 packet)

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 3 Tbsp melted butter

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 5 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Mix warm water, yeast, and honey in a bowl. Stir and let yeast develop for 10 minutes

  2. Step 2: Add 4 1/2 cups of flour, melted butter, and salt to yeast mixture. Set aside the other 1/2 cup of flour for later use. Mix till the dough starts to come off the side of the bowl

  3. Step 3: Once the dough is well combined, add the other 1/2 cup of flour

  4. Step 4: Leave dough in bowl. Cover and put in warm spot to rise for 1 hour. (Recommended oven with the light on)

  5. Step 5: Lightly coat two pans with butter. Set aside for later use

  6. Step 6: After dough rise, remove from bowl and cut into 2 loaves. Place loaves in buttered pans. Set on the counter for a second rise. For 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes

  7. Step 7: Bake at 350 for 30 minutes

  8. Step 8: After bake, remove fromthe pan and enjoy
