Panda Express Rangoons

This rangoon’s tastes exactly like the ones you can find at Panda Express. Also, they are not very expensive to make. The recipe also makes one full package of wonton wrappers worth of rangoon’s.

Fried wontons with dipping sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese

  • 1 bundle of green onions

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 Package wonton wrappers

  • Oil

  • Sweet and Sour sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, green onion, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until fully combined.

  2. Get a small bowl of water and set aside for wrapping.

  3. Once the mixture is fully combined, add about 1/2 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture to the center of each wonton wrapper.

  4. To fold the wontons, brush water around the edges of the wrapper, then bring the corners of the wonton wrapper together in the center and pinch to seal the filling inside.

  5. In a sauce pan (or deeper fryer) add oil and bring up to a slow boil. ( Should have slight bubbles).

  6. Add about 3 to 5 wontons to the hot oil (depending on the size of the pan) let fry for about 6 minutes it until the wonton is golden brown.

  7. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to get some of the extra oil off.

  8. Let cool and enjoy
