Honey Lemon Garlic Chicken

This is a good one pot chicken recipe for family dinner nights. The honey and lemon complement the chicken perfectly.

Ingredients

  • 5 Bone on chicken thighs

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Lightly salt and pepper the chicken thighs.

  3. In a large bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic, and rice wine vinegar. Mix well.

  4. Pour half the sauce over the chicken and make sure the chicken gets well covered in the sauce.

  5. Heat a pan to medium heat and sear the chicken skin until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Turn and repeat on the other side of the chicken.

  6. Once the chicken is browned on both sides, add the rest of the sauce and put the chicken in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes.

  7. Once chicken is fully cooked serve with extra sauce and ejoy.
